378,000 SF in size, the Atlas House is yet another adaptive reuse project fueling the revitalization of Wilshire Boulevard. The 1970s commercial tower, which is 13 stories high with two basement levels, underwent rehabilitation in 2019 to accommodate the structure for residential use. Because the building is largely composed of concrete construction, LFA’s design included a seismic retrofit that met the City of LA’s residential conversion requirements as well as Division 95’s non-ductile concrete mitigation requirements. After three years in the making, the project was completed in October 2022, bringing LA tenants 317 modern live/work apartments and a brand new amenity rooftop deck.
