Cahuenga — Hollywood, CA

Architect: Shubin + Donaldson Architects

720 Cahuenga is a 40,000 SF adaptive reuse project located in the heart of the Hollywood Media District. Redeveloped by HQ Creative Space and designed by Shubin + Donaldson, the project transforms a 1950s-era prop warehouse into a sophisticated creative office, retaining key structural and architectural elements to preserve its industrial character.

The renovation unifies three adjacent warehouses into a cohesive, campus-like workplace featuring dramatic 30-foot bowtruss ceilings and a palette of exposed wood, steel, and concrete. The reimagined interior includes mezzanines, open workspaces, dual conference rooms, a screening room, and versatile indoor-outdoor zones.

Anchored by a landscaped courtyard and 30-foot water feature, the space is purpose-built to inspire—a distinctive setting ideal for a single creative or tech tenant looking to attract top talent.
