Jacob Rodriguez, S.E.
Principal

In 2023, LFA welcomed Principal Jacob Rodriguez, whose 22-year portfolio spans countless residential, school, parking, institutional, civic, and commercial developments. Jacob specializes in the seismic retrofit and renovation of existing and historic structures after having worked on multiple landmark projects in southern California, including Atascadero Hall, the J. Paul Getty Villa Museum and the Glendale Brand Library to name a few.

Based in our Pasadena office, Jacob oversees the structural evaluation, analysis and design of a wide range of projects from inception through construction completion. He is a certified DSA reviewer for public school projects and a Cal OES SAP Volunteer, responsible for assessing damaged buildings in the aftermath of a major seismic event. On every project, Jacob’s primary focus is to optimize the structural design with a cost-effective solution while maintaining the architectural vision for the project.

Outside the office, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and running marathons.
