Joe Thompson, P.E.
Project Manager

Since joining LFA in 2010, Joe has completed over 130 projects in his 10 years with the firm, and is highly effective at managing jobs from concept to completion. He has extensive experience in the analysis, design, evaluation, retrofit, and construction of both high-end custom residential and commercial projects.

His enjoyment of engineering and building design was heavily influenced by the simple yet dramatic architectural works of Tadao Ando and Frank Lloyd Wright. For his Senior Thesis in 2009, his Cal Poly team won the EERI Seismic Design Competition for a 50-story office tower.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing beach volleyball, snowboarding, grilling, and rooting for his hometown teams, the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.
