Lena Tan
Project Manager

Lena Tan joined LFA in 2013, bringing over 20 years of BIM and CAD experience. She was drawn to the structural engineering field through her art background and fascination with the design and construction process of buildings.

Lena obtained formal training from ITT but also believes that in our fast-changing industry, one should never stop learning. At LFA, Lena manages a group of 12 drafters and ensures the construction documents are thoroughly coordinated, complete and consistent with the firm’s quality standards. She believes continued education is a must to maintain her skills to properly serve LFA’s clients. To this end, Lena makes sure she is up on the latest technology, applications and methods.

Lena has managed the following selected list of noteworthy projects: Los Angeles Lakers Training Facility (El Segundo, CA), Emerson School (Hollywood, CA) and La Plaza Cultura (Los Angeles Chinatown, CA).

Outside of work, Lena enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and golfing.
