Dr. Mostafa Khalil is a structural engineer specializing in the analysis, design, and retrofit of reinforced concrete structures, with over a decade of experience in both consulting and academic environments. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on innovative reinforcement strategies and nonlinear behavior of concrete elements. Mostafa currently serves as a team lead at Labib Funk + Associates (Egypt Branch), where he leads high-profile structural projects involving performance-based design and complex projects. He previously worked as a Senior Engineer at Salama Structural Engineers and is also an Assistant Professor at the Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University. His work bridges advanced research and practical engineering, with a focus on structural innovation in Egypt, the Gulf region, and the United States.
