Developer: Skid Row Housing Trust | Architect: Killefer Flammang Architects

The New Pershing Apartments includes 69 units of modern permanent supportive and affordable housing, with 3,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space and on-site supportive services. For this unique project, JLA preserved the existing historic unreinforced masonry façade in place, while the existing building was demolished, and rebuilt as state-of-the-art supportive housing for the Skid Row Housing Trust. The façade was reattached to the new structure, preserving the building’s historical beauty.
